Roland have released the latest version of the firmware for the Juno-DS including a range of upgrades, enhancements and new features. You can download the new firmware from the Roland website and experience the added multi-sample functionality and Tone Manager software.
The new Tone Manager software includes a Librarian section for creating, backing up and renaming your patches. The editor in the software allows you to edit various parameters of drums kit, patches and more. The Sample Creator allows you to use the software to create samples from audio files and export them to the keyboard as user samples.
A range of new features come with version 2.0 including enhanced MIDI functionality and multi-sample performance. Phrase pads can also now send MIDI note messages, as well as samples and multi-samples being editable in the performance edit screen.
