Band Pass Subwoofer

The Turbosound Dublin TCX18B Passive Subwoofer features a 18-inch dual ported bandpass enclosures, tuned for the best possible bass response. The custom tuning is designed to work in conjunction with Turbosound loudspeaker management systems. The high output and immense sound pressure levels ensures optimal audio performance and room coverage. The TCX18B Passive Subwoofer includes a 18-inch double suspension low frequency driver featuring a unique inside/outside wound voice coil for increased magnetic density, increased heat dissipation and high power handling capacity for optimal efficiency. The bandpass enclosure is highly efficient, generating the maximum bass output possible by increasing the acoustic load presented to the driver. This extended low frequency response and high efficiency is ideal for both FOH and sound reinforcement applications.

Design & Connectivity

The robust yet sleek birch plywood enclosure includes hard wearing semi matte black paint on the outside for optimal durability and reliability. M10 threaded rigging points are also included for suspension in permanent installations. A pole mount sockets is included, allowing the two-way cabinet to be mounted at the correct high above the subwoofer for the best possible audio performance. The rear of the subwoofer features dual Neutrik Speak ON NL4 connectors as well as a wired-in parallel with a 4-way barrier strip connector for added versatility.
