Maple Neck & Richlite Fingerboard

Constructed from maple, the Hummingbird's neck adds a bright tonality with plenty of bite and sustain to the guitar's sound. Although maple is a brightly toned piece of timber, its the mids that tend to have a snappier attack with a punchy, slightly-gnarly edge when driven with a hard pick attack. Additionally, the neck also offers excellent clarity when playing light to medium strength fingerpicking techniques. Furthermore, the neck also features an advanced response profile which offers enhanced playability and enables the player to have a comfortable, smooth movement in each position up and down the neck. Lastly, its maple neck is topped with a richlite fingerboard that sonically-replicates ebony, adding a bright tonality with long-lasting sustain to the guitar's sound. Richlite is also a sustainable material, adding an environmentally friendly vibe.

Square Shoulder Dreadnought Cutaway

The Gibson Hummingbird Walnut AG 2018 features a square shoulder dreadnought body that offers superb acoustic projection whilst maintaining overall tonal balance.
