The Roadhouse's wild cherry solid laminated body projects a tone that falls between the mellow sound of mahogany and the bright tonality of maple. Lastly, the overall tone produced is able to accommodate classical, flamenco, Spanish, blues, and folk genres, as well as a wide variety of picking techniques and medium strength strumming.

Constructed from silver leaf maple, the Roadhouse's neck adds a bright tonal output with great sustain to the guitar's overall sound. Additionally, the Roadhouse also features a double action truss rod, which offers stability and relief of the neck. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard that adds warmth and clarity to the guitar's sound while providing a smooth, energetic platform for the left hand.
