Key Features
Product Ref: 104417
Like others in the Professional Collection, the Gretsch G6129T is manufactured with a hollow body, providing a lightweight guitar with a superb resonance. Crafted from mahogany, with a maple top, the G6129T produces a strong, balanced mid-range with rich harmonics. Finally, the Black gloss finish provides stunning aesthetics and a protective coating.
The Gretsch G6129T PRO Players Edition Jet features a standard ''U'' neck profile, providing players with comfortable playability, and the perfect choice for those who play with their thumb on the back or side of the neck. This comfortable neck is crafted from mahogany and topped with rosewood, adding a warm, resonance to the overall tone.
As well as offering comfortable playability, the Gretsch G6129T PRO Players Edition Electric Guitar also features two High-Sensitive FilterTron pickups, located at the neck and bridge positions. This powerful pair complements the guitar's chambered body resonance and delivers a balanced and transparent tone, eliminating any undesirable hum that is often associated with single-coil pickups.
The Anchored Adjusto-Matic Bridge has featured on many Gretsch guitars over the years, due to its reliable tuning. Introduced in the early 1970s, this innovative bridge offers superb, individual intonation for each string, with its six adjustable saddles.
One of the most recognisable features on this guitar is the Bigsby B7CP tremolo, which has featured on Gretsch guitars since the 1950s. With the Bigsby tremolo players can add tremolo and pitch-bending effects to single notes or full chords, while remaining in-tune.
The Gretsch G6129T also features a Graph Tech Tusq nut which is impregnated with PTFT, providing a slippy substance which controls the amount of grip that the nut has on the strings. A Tusq nut delivers a rich tone, along with hidden harmonics by transferring your strings vibrations efficiently to the guitar.
