However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers.
The highlights of this enhanced warranty service are:
Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided.
For customers in outlying areas of the country, the price of the Extended Warranty may be marginally higher, due to the potential for higher collection and redelivery transport costs.
This enhanced warranty is in addition to the standard Gear4music and manufacturer warranty policies, and the Gear4music terms and conditions of trade. No statement or condition of sale contained within these terms affects or restricts your statutory rights as defined under the Consumer Contracts Regulation 2014.

Explore an extensive range of sounds with custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups developed specifically for the Prophecy series. Three selectable voices provide modern high-output active humbucker sounds, vintage Patent Applied For-inspired character, and clear single-coil-style articulation. Push/pull master volume and tone controls make switching between these contrasting sounds straightforward, allowing you to adapt quickly to different musical styles. From tightly defined high-gain riffs and soaring leads to expressive clean passages, the Fluence electronics deliver excellent clarity and controlled low frequencies, making the Prophecy Flying V equally capable in the studio and on stage.
Enjoy fluid, accurate playing with a thermally aged, one-piece maple neck featuring Epiphone's streamlined HyperGlide profile. Its satin finish provides a smooth playing feel, while graphite reinforcement rods enhance structural stability and long-term durability. The bound ebony fretboard features a 10–14-inch compound radius, combining comfortable chord playing with a flatter upper register for demanding lead techniques. Twenty-four stainless steel frets offer a durable, precise playing surface, allowing confident movement across the entire neck. Black mother-of-pearl block inlays provide clear position markers while complementing the guitar's contemporary styling.
Maintain tight, articulate response across lower tunings with the Prophecy Flying V's 25.5-inch scale length. The extended scale increases string tension and note clarity, making it particularly useful for drop-tuned riffs and modern playing techniques. Locking Grover Rotomatic tuners and a Graph Tech nut provide dependable tuning stability, while the LockTone Modern bridge offers consistent performance. A string-through-body tailpiece, influenced by the Frequensator design, helps optimise string tension balance for controlled low frequencies, vibrant highs, strong sustain, and smooth bending. Together, these features provide a reliable foundation for expressive playing.
Combining the distinctive Flying V silhouette with contemporary construction, the Prophecy Flying V delivers a striking instrument designed for serious performance. Its solidbody construction provides a responsive foundation, while carefully selected materials and refined appointments contribute to its premium character. Multi-ply body binding complements the angular design, while the matching bound headstock features the Epiphone logo and Custom split diamond inlay. Black nickel hardware reinforces the guitar's aggressive aesthetic, and the included Protector Ultralite case offers convenient protection during transport and storage, making this a practical choice for rehearsals, recording, and live performances.
