The beautifully detailed Canadian wild cherry archtop is complemented by a striking floating pickguard. Infusing a classical aesthetic these looks instantly takes you back in time. A custom polished finish creates a sheen glowing with the elegance of the past century. The flowing resonance provided by a thin cherry top is truly amazing.
Acoustic glow and P90 sizzle
Timeless tone. The P90 produces a warm twang perfect for blues or clean arrangements, but still boasting plenty of bite if some distorted growl is called for. As a pickup that sits somewhere between a single-coil and a humbucker, the P90 packs a diverse tonal range, so don’t be afraid to kick into crunchy rock or distortion laden solos, because the 5th Avenue Kingpin is more than a one-trick pony.
Strike a chord
Smooth and liquid performance from a rosewood fretboard. This sensational wood purrs with warm response and a ringing sustain. Slick and soft to the touch, you'll be able to chord all over the board effortlessly. A premium Graphtech nut enhances the rosewood's excellent sutain and provides a solid platform for your strings.
To make chording even easier, Godin have provided a "D" shaped neck to provide your thumb with a comfortable action point, increasing the pressure you can apply with your fretting fingers. Play for hours and wave goodbye to fretting fatigue.
