The Guild Newark St Starfire IV revives a beloved classic from the 1960s with all the charm and tonal warmth you’d expect from a vintage semi-hollow. Its double-cutaway thinline body is crafted entirely from arched mahogany, delivering a resonant and airy tone with a natural midrange sweetness. This semi-hollow construction offers a smooth, open sound with excellent note clarity and a lively acoustic character that responds beautifully to dynamics. The lightweight build also makes it comfortable to play for long sessions, on stage or in the studio.
