The SR1600D's Aguilar DCB pickups are built to for versatile players. If you like to vary your dynamics from gentle taps to energetic bass slaps, then these are the humbuckers for you! They utilise a dual-ceramic bar design to produce an even magnetic field, harvesting every scrap of sonic information you produce.
In addition, the dual magnet design promotes a thick and punchy tone, excellent for voicing low-end rumbles and impactful slap lines. Similarly, the ceramic material imbues plenty of bright overtones to bring out the spark in slap styles.
Complete tonal control
The control section of the SR1356B is your gateway to perfect tone. The active three-band EQ lets you mould your bass, midrange, and treble frequencies to get a crisp, clear, articulate voicing. The EQ bypass switch lets you change to a passive setting, ignoring the active circuit for a more natural voicing. And the three-way mid frequency switch allows you to select which part of the midrange you want to emphasise - go from tight and punchy to thick and juicy in an instant.
