The LD Systems Stinger 28 G3 2 x 8'' is a thoroughly professional Passive Speaker, with high quality sound and outstanding build quality. The 2 custom designed 8'' mid-bass drivers deliver punchy low end, whilst the BMS compression driver gives clear and crisp highs. The LD Stinger also achieves very even coverage over its 90 x 50 dispersion, owing to the numerically modeled HF waveguide. The 400 Watt power handling leaves ample headroom and really allows an amplifier and mixer to shine with minimal signal colouration. The Passive Stinger 28 is also built for longevity and hardiness, featuring a rigid 12mm birch ply enclosure with a resilient polyurea coating.

Sound Quality and Versatile Use

The LD Systems Stinger 28 is ideal for use as a front of house, satellite, or monitor speaker, in both touring PAs and permanent installations. The speaker's cabinet features a dual tilt speaker pole receptacle which can be used to set a mounting angle of either 0° or 5°, allowing use on a variety of stages at different heights. With 400 watts RMS power handling and 125 dB maximum sound pressure, the LD Stinger has all the volume needed to fill large venues, without compromising on signal quality.
