The mic preamp uses the original Jensen transformer from the 4000 E, which brings a clean yet harmonically rich sound to vocals, drums, and instruments. This preamp circuit adds subtle warmth while maintaining detail, making it ideal for both tracking and reamping.

Additional front-end controls include +48V phantom power, polarity reverse, a 20 dB pad, and a line-level input. These options make the Revival 4000 suitable for use across a wide range of input sources. Versatile EQ with heritage modes

At the heart of the Revival 4000 is SSL’s classic 4-band EQ, giving users the choice between two distinct tonal flavours.
