DISC Kilohearts Distortion

The Kilohearts Distortion is a powerful yet streamlined distortion plugin featuring an easy-to-use, compact interface with five distinctive distortion types to choose from. Whether you need to add a little tonal spice to a guitar recording or experiment with destroying and mangling audio, this plugin is for you! The intuitive GUI presents you with Drive, Dynamics, Bias, Spread and Mix controls; all represented by dials. You can achieve stereo widening effects by using the 'Spread' knob, great for adding depth to any sound.

With five distortion shapes at your disposal, you can easily achieve the sound you want. Each shape provides its own unique sound and style ranging from classic saturation to hard clipping and a versatile 'Overdrive' setting. Preserve the dynamic content of your input signal by turning up the 'Dynamics' knob. The Bias control allows you to add a DC offset to the signal before it becomes distorted - perfect for adding an extra touch of character.

Curate and test presets using the onboard settings panel (small arrow in the top right corner) and captures your inspiration while it strikes. It even features a randomise button for when you want to experiment with the various settings. The user interface can also be resized so you can expand or decrease the size of the plugin on your screen, which can prove useful for live performances and studio work.
