Work wirelessly without compromising your monitoring

RealSound technology gives you the freedom of wireless headphones without compressing the audio signal. The LW6 and supplied LW TX transmitter communicate over the 6.8 to 10.2GHz ultra-wideband range, delivering uncompressed PCM audio with latency below 6ms. That makes the connection suitable for recording and real-time monitoring as well as detailed mixing work.

Simply connect the transmitter where you would normally plug in wired headphones, or connect it directly to a computer via USB-C. You then have a working range of around five metres, helping you move around your setup without dragging a headphone cable behind you.

Make confident decisions with natural, isolated sound

The LW6 combines two useful studio characteristics: the transparent presentation associated with open-back headphones and the isolation of a closed-back enclosure. This helps you focus on fine details while reducing leakage during recording and monitoring.

Lewitt developed the tuning using an enhanced measurement process that places microphones in real ears rather than relying solely on a head simulator. The result is designed for accurate, natural reproduction, giving you a dependable reference for balancing levels, positioning sounds, and making detailed mastering decisions. It is particularly useful when you need isolation but still want a spacious, revealing listening experience.

Shape your monitoring directly from the headphones

Built-in DSP gives you several ways to adapt the LW6 to different studio tasks, and the processing runs directly on the headphones. Create up to three sound profiles using the five-band EQ in the HEADPHONES software or mobile app, then store them onboard for use without a host device.

Virtual studio monitors simulate listening to monitors in a tuned room, giving you another perspective on your stereo image. Loudness Guard lets you set a threshold for protection against high-level peaks. Advanced monitoring also includes mono, side-stereo, side-mono, left-right swapping, K-metering, and three user-defined target volumes for quick mix checks.
