Versatile VCO/LFO Eurorack Module

The Intellijel Dixie+ builds on the design of the Dixie II, adding a range of new features to expand your sound design capabilities. This versatile voltage-controlled oscillator and LFO combo is highly flexible, boasting a triangle core for superior FM-style sound. The module boasts 6 waveforms in total including: sine, triangle, zigzag, saw pulse and suboctave. The wide range of waveforms means you can create virtually any sound you can think of. The fully analog circuitry brings that classic warmth and grit to your sounds, ideal for creating everything from basslines to leads and more.

Additional Modulation Control

The Dixie+ Eurorack Module features a range of additional controls and parameters, designed to improve the way you sculpt and craft your sound. One of the most prominent additions to the design is the 8-position octave switch, which allows you to quickly set the coarse tuning. The fine tuning knob has also been expanded, transforming into a coarse control when the module is in LFO mode. Another prominent addition is the pulse width control, in the form of a large attenuator. The flip sync circuity has also been improved from the original Dixie II model for improved audio performance. There is also a new Reset to 0V hard sync input, ideal for creating percussive sounds or providing added modulation options.

Design & Layout

The compact design of the module only requires 8HP of space, making it ideal for the space conscious modular user. As well as featuring dedicated outputs for the six waveforms, the module also features 1V/Oct, Sync, Flip, PWM and dual FM inputs for added flexibility. The FM1 and PWM inputs feature their own dedicated attenuator, and can be switched to select between exponential and linear mode. The Dixie II+ module is ideal for a range of sound creation applications, thanks to its wide range of patch points and modulation controls. It also is the ideal companion for the Intellijel Rubicon, opening up a whole new world of options and capabilities.
