One of Seydel's key revelations is the use of stainless steel reeds. Not only do these reeds offer more stable tuning - even under extreme stress - but they're also resistant to any corrosion. They are manufactured using fine-cut technology, optimising flatness, and have minimal tolerance between the tongues and the reed plates. This means Session Steel harmonicas require significantly less air while also producing a full, loud, and overtone-rich sound with a fast response.
To ensure you're comfortable, the front of the Session Steel boasts a lip-and-beard-friendly design. These ergonomic cover plates are made of stainless steel and are completely rounded at the mouthpiece to guarantee a smoothness.
